Today marks the beginning of the first unofficial Club Penguin Island Stand-not-Sit Fortnight! Created by Coach Croc, the next two weeks will celebrate the joys of standing up on the Island rather than sitting down. “There are too many places to sit on the Island”, Coach Croc said in a statement.
“By taking a moment of our day to stand rather than sit, we can reduce penguin back pain, boost productivity and live longer”.
Coach Croc, November 2017
Special Daily Challenges have been made for this special two-week event for all penguins, however no reward is given. Coach Croc believes that the joy of standing up is all the reward you need. However, we’ve heard from a few angry penguins that they would prefer coins and XP.
Stand-not-Sit Fortnight Daily Challenges (and Coach Wisdom)
November 16: The Busk Stop – Stand on a bench at Island Central’s grassy park
“Bench presses?! They’re for the weak – bench stands are for REAL SPORTSPENGUINS”
November 19: Food Trek: The Next Meal Station – Chat to order food while standing on the Foodtrekker tables
“Are you really going to eat that fishdog? EARN IT.”
November 19: Chair-ish the Moment – Stand on 6 different chairs at the Cove
“If you’re going to treasure being around chairs, make it memorable. STANDING UP.”
November 19: Highlights at High Heights – Have 2 penguins stand on the CPSN desk, and 1 behind the camera
“Going for the extra challenge? Stand on the mugs and DON’T dip your flippers into the choklidium LAVA!!”
November 25: Sea Seats – Hover over or jump on 5 different chairs in the Sea Caves
“I still wouldn’t consider hovering in water REAL exercise… but it will have to do.”
November 26: Dark Mat-ter – Jump on all three mats on the floating deck
“Already jumped on all three of them? AGAIN. DO IT AGAIN. AND AGAIN. NOW!”

Coach Croc’s intense Daily Challenge workout routine has been designed to be tough – tougher than whatever routine Jet Pack Guy does. The Island Stand-not-Sit Fortnight runs from November 15th to November 28th, and it’s guaranteed to provide results. Follow this guidance over the next two weeks and you could be strong enough to lift a paper-mache model of the Island, just like Coach Croc. Impressive!
There will be some penguins unaware of these special Daily Challenges, so it’s up to you to spread the word that they’re not working they can change your penguin’s life forever.
Help the community with the broken Daily Challenges!
- Visit the places of the broken Daily Challenges and provide Party Blasters to penguins trying to earn coins, and then remind them about how great standing up is.
- Bring party games to these places and help penguins trying to level up their penguins with the broken Daily Challenges. All of the party games involve standing up – they fit perfectly into the Stand-not-Sit event.
- Turn this into an opportunity for fun! With lots of penguins around areas like the Foodtrekker and CPSN station trying to do the challenge, you can try roleplaying as waiters, chefs and customers or host your own tube racing highlights show. I’ve heard there’s going to be a pretty intense Summit Plummet race on the 19th.
- Make new friends – the best part about Club Penguin Island! Through helping a fellow penguin pal, you could make a new friend. Isn’t that just heartwarming? Just make sure you’re standing up when you send that friend request.
Are you ready to make a difference to your penguin’s life and stand like you’ve never stood before? Of course you are! Be sure to share your Island Stand-not-Sit Fortnight successes in the comments below. You’ve got this. Good luck, penguin family!

Oh man this post was so good I need to sit down….
