Over the weekend, Club Penguin Island held an awesome event at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. To celebrate, here’s some ways to enjoy the fun at Blizzard Beach on Club Penguin Island! But before we get started, I’d like to introduce to you the mascot of Blizzard Beach… Ice Gator!

Well… sort of. I think it’s a pretty good costume, don’t you think? Anyways, “Ice Gator” has recently taken a tour of the Island and has come up with a whole bunch of ways to bring the fun of Blizzard Beach Water Park to Club Penguin Island! We’ll be running through attractions and restaurants at the water park and how you can bring that fun over to CPI. Let’s get started!

ENJOY BLIZZARD BEACH ATTRACTIONS ON CP ISLAND

Chair Lift

At the water park, the chairlift takes you all the way to the top of Mount Gushmore, home to Summit Plummet and other exciting waterslides. While we might not have waterslides on the Island, you can hop on the chair lift on Mount Blizzard for beautiful views and then jump into a penguin cannon to our tube racing slides, which are just as awesome as their real-world counterparts!

Cross Country Creek

Flowing all around Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, the Cross Country Creek is a relaxing, beautifully landscaped lazy river which effortlessly transports you around the waterpark as you glide along gently in an inner tube. On Club Penguin Island, we’re lucky enough to have an lazy river of our own which loops around Coconut Cove.

Equip a Snow Slider tube, and enjoy easy transportation to the Stage, Lifeguard Area, South Island and Blob! The soothing sounds of your tube floating across the water are so peaceful, they might send you to sleep… if there isn’t a rock band on the Stage, at least.

Downhill Double Dipper

The Downhill Double Dipper is an exhilarating pair of waterslides where you can race your friends to the bottom and get your time on a digital stop-clock at the end. You can tube race with your friends on Mount Blizzard and see who gets the best trophy. Who doesn’t want a platinum trophy floating above their head as they celebrate their victory?

Melt-Away Bay

The Melt-Away Bay at Blizzard Beach is perfect for relaxation. The waterfalls off Mount Gushmore create gentle waves for floating on a tube and are perfect for getting soaked under. Waterfall water, how refreshing! After you’ve had a paddle, hop onto a lounge chair and soak up some rays.

At Coconut Cove, we’ve got TWO waterfalls which create gentle waves leading into the lazy river perfect for paddling in. You can even tube off the waterfall for extra excitement. After you’re done making a splash, kick back and relax on the South Island’s lounge chairs. Just… keep an eye out for a polar bear wearing a sweater and a crab. I’ve heard they quite like this spot. Yikes!

Ski Patrol Training Camp

Are you ready for a challenge? At the Ski Patrol Training Camp, you can test your balance walking across tricky ice flows with the cargo net above for support. While we haven’t got tricky ice flows to waddle over on the Island, you can test your skill by jumping around on the Cove.

Start off by leaping from the South Island to the Lifeguard Area. After that, dive off from the blue platform and try land on the blob. Here’s the most tricky part, can you get from the blob up to the floating deck? It’s not easy, but it’s totally possible. A long run-up can be helpful. After that, hop from the floating deck back to the mainland. Well done, penguin.

Slush Gusher

It’s a thrilling, high-speed ride down from Mount Gushmore with two rolling hills so you get plenty of air time. While the ramps of Snow Stormer on Club Penguin Island might be thrilling for some, have you tried catching some airtime by tubing OFF THE CLIMBING WALL?! I know, it sounds crazy. But it’s just as fun as it is crazy. I promise. If you hit the ground fast enough, you might even fall through and get teleported back to the clock tower and see some amazing views of Mount Blizzard. So much fun!

Snow Stormers

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach, the Snow Stormers are a series of waterslides which twist and turn just like a real world ski race. Take a tube ride down the Snow Stormer tube race track on Club Penguin Island for similar twists and turns, and race against your friends to see who makes it to the bottom first.

Summit Plummet

Take a plummet from the summit of Mount Gushmore. Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach takes you down 12 stories at incredible speeds. It sounds like an INSANE waterslide. Named exactly the same, Summit Plummet on Club Penguin Island can reach some pretty extreme speeds if you ask me. Avoid walls and obstacles and enjoy the plummet from the summit of Mount Blizzard.

Teamboat Springs

Enjoy a long whitewater raft ride with up to six friends at Teamboat Springs. Your shared tube will twist and turn and you’ll get splashed like crazy! When I thought of an attraction on the Island which you can enjoy with friends which twists and turns, only one game came to mind… the Tilt-o-Tube!

Hop on with as many friends as you’d like, or you can go solo, and try not to fall off this tube from another universe which tilts and shrinks. Just watch out for your friends who do fall off, they’ll be sure to make a big splash!

Toboggan Racers

Race for King of the Mountain on the eight-lane slopes while lying on a toboggan-style mat at Toboggan Racers. Dips and drops are a-plenty on the toboggan course, so get ready for a bumpy ride down. You can race your friends on the stairs in the Sea Caves which are filled with bumpy drops at each step. What do you get if you win? The proud title of… King of the Stairs. Sounds cool enough to me.

Runoff Rapids

There’s three different exciting waterslides at Runoff Rapids, which powered by the runoff of Mount Gushmore… if it wasn’t closed for refurbishment. Luckily, you can still enjoy Runoff Rapids on Club Penguin Island by tubing down the three steep slopes by the mountain runoff on Mount Blizzard. Just… try not to fall off the slopes or crash into Gary’s Lab. That’s what I did… way too many times.

ENJOY BLIZZARD BEACH FOOD ON CP ISLAND

Cooling Hut

Order up! There’s plenty of snacks to choose from on the menu for the Cooling Hut at Blizzard Beach. Guests can choose sandwiches like a Tuna Sandwich or sip on Brrr-Everages. We might not have tuna on the Island, but a fluffy fish will do, right? I enjoyed a Fishdog (which is basically a sandwich) in the Rescue Hut, and then sipped on a Seaweed Smoothie as my Brrr-Everage by a chilly pal.

Lottawatta Lodge

The Lottawatta Lodge is home to a whole range of delicious meals to tuck into. Penguins don’t have access to more sophisticated meals like Chicken Nuggets, but we do have pizza! Lottawatta Lodge has a Pepperoni Flatbread, Speciality Flatbread and Cheese Flatbread. Pizza is like bread… but flat… right? Or is my logic here completely wrong? I think it looks like a flatbread. *hides*

Mini Donuts at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

I hate to be one to break bad news, penguins, but we don’t have mini donuts on Club Penguin Island! (This needs to change, like right now). But, alongside delicious mini donuts, the Mini Donuts stand at Blizzard Beach does sell hot chocolate. Waddle down to the Snowmelt Shop and pick yourself up some hot cocoa. Yum! If you’re still craving donuts, the Tube Smithy has donuts. Rubber donuts which you can’t eat. How… delicious.

RELAXING AT BLIZZARD BEACH ON CP ISLAND

Polar Patios

Relax with your pals on a Polar Patio at Blizzard Beach. There’s towels, cushions, drink mugs, ice and bottled water. What more could you possibly ask for? At Coconut Cove on Club Penguin Island, you and three more friends can kick back and relax on beach towels on the Floating Deck, with the SS Convenience stocking Squid Sticks only a quick swim-and-climb-up-the-hill away. And, you can ZIPLINE back to your “private patio”! You can’t do that at Blizzard Beach!

Lodge Umbrellas

If the sunshine of the Cove isn’t for you, or it’s somehow raining, you can have a Lodge Umbrella with lounge chairs, beach towels, and more! The Blizzard Beach decorations up on Mount Blizzard are the perfect spot for you and your friend to kick back, relax and avoid the rain. Although you don’t escape the snow, I must warn you.

Have fun on “Blizzard Beach”!

It might not be exactly the same as visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park in Florida, but I do think penguins can still have a bunch of Blizzard Beach inspired fun on Club Penguin Island. Have you tried some of the activities and food suggested in this post with your friends? Let me know in the comments or on social media since I might have a few Party Blasters spare. ?

Until next time, penguin family!

Waddle on!
