7 Club Penguin Island Activities for Everyone

Are you a free Club Penguin Island player looking for some new ways to spend your time on the Island? While a lot of features are for members, here’s a list of activities for everyone! 

#1: Pretend to be a mascot

Can ye speak like a pirate? Then climb aboard the Migrator and stand behind Captain Rockhopper! I’ve seen lots of free players pretend to be mascots like Aunt Arctic and help out other penguins or even use the mascots as part of roleplay. You might not be able to dress up your penguin, but isn’t it so much cooler to look like a mascot?

#2: Everyone can take part in endless underwater races

Dive into the Sea Caves, turn left and boost around the Race Course for your best time! Everyone can take part in races underwater, but watch out for obstacles like squid, cacti and trapper plants which will all slow you down if you’re not careful. But if you do get caught by a trapper plant – thanks for feeding them. ;)

#3: Eat a member’s shared food and play party games

Everyone can see members around the Island who will be happy to share party supplies like Squid Sticks or play games like Ink or Swim with you. No matter where you go on the Island, you can almost definitely find member penguins sharing the fun – so join in! You could even try seeing how far you can run while eating a piece of food.

#4: Dance with three unique actions

Just like how members have access to gear like the jackhammer or the multitool with three actions, free players can dance on the Welcome Plaza’s dance floor with three dance moves available for only three minutes at a time! Can you create a whole dance routine with them? You can also try reach the cloud with the trampoline mini-games or kick some beach balls about in the Welcome Plaza. I personally enjoy trying to kick a beach ball onto the Migrator before it pops!

#5: Create unique fashions to share with friends and family

Wonder how you’re going to spend all those coins you’re earning as a free player? Did you know that EVERYONE can design at least four clothing blueprints with a few fabrics and decals?! Without a membership, these items go black and white in your closet until you subscribe, but if you take a screenshot before you save the item, you can have a photo of the item to share with your family and friends. 

#6: Roleplay all over the Island

One of my favourite parts about Club Penguin Island is how everywhere is an opportunity to roleplay, and the best part about roleplay is that everyone can do it. Members have access to gear items to enhance their roleplay experience, however roleplay can involve lots of people and free players can definitely still take part even without the roleplay tools which come with a paid membership. After all, who else will order food at the Foodtrekker, need first aid at the Rescue Hut and help guard the ruler of an underwater kingdom?

#7: Help other penguins

One of the best things anyone can do on Club Penguin Island is help out other penguins in our community. Some penguins might be stuck completing their first quest, feeling a bit lost, needing help with a Daily Challenge or just wants a friend to chat to. No matter who you are, whether you have a membership or not, you can help out another penguin in need. And I think that’s pretty awesome.
