All aboard the igloo tram! I’ve seen so many amazing igloos on Club Penguin Island since the 1.8 update released last week. Whether it’s secret bases, rivers, beach resorts or just a cozy home – the community’s creativity is fantastic.

With igloo trams now zooming around the Island, I thought it would be nice to hop onto the trams and take a tour of everyone’s awesome lots. Here are the details!

When: December 4th at 10:30am PST

Where: By the Igloo Tram Station in Island Central

Igloo decorating tips

Looking to create an awesome igloo? Is it already time for home improvements? Here’s a few of my tips for decorating your Island home.

  • Have a basic plan: It’s important to know what sort of igloo you’re going to be creating. Think about what sort of furniture you’re going to include. If you’re creating a home, are you going to have a living room? Will there be a TV? Take a small burst of imagination, develop a plan of what you’re going to build, and then visit Igloos and Interiors and shop ’til you drop!
  • Use the catalog’s themes: With furniture unlocked at each themed level, Rory’s store has conveniently gathered the furniture from each theme and put it into a convenient menu. Take a browse! All the items you need for an awesome restaurant are under “Sharing”, for example.
  • Be interactive: One of the best features in igloos on Club Penguin Island is interactable furniture. Use it to your advantage! You can have chairs, trampolines, cannons, vending machines, gear, there’s so many it’s difficult to remember them all. It’s totally possible to create something amazing with just a few interactables, so give it a try!
  • Resize, stack, rotate: You’re definitely not restricted to what comes out of your inventory. Play around with the different ways you can arrange your furniture in your igloo. I’ve created plenty of floating platforms, crate towers… even a giant fridge base. Be as random as you want!
  • Enjoy building: If you’ve had fun building your igloo, I’m certain every visitor to your igloo will have a blast exploring and playing in it.

Have you got an ice-cool igloo? Let me know in the comments below and we can visit it on the tour! I’ll be bringing along some hot cocoa and fishdogs for the tram ride too. See you soon!

Waddle on!
