Undiscovered Resort Party

Can you believe it, penguins?! Summer is almost over! My friend, 2014luca, discovered a hidden resort off the coast of Coconut Cove with me the other day. To celebrate Summer and this discovery, let’s party! Here’s all the details you need to know.

Time: 26th August at 1pm PST

World: Permafrost

Zone: Coconut Cove

Dj Stores and 2014luca will be hosting the party and will provide snacks, party supplies and more! Members can explore more of the out-of-bounds water with a tube.

Island exploration can lead us anywhere!

You might be wondering, how can penguins get to the undiscovered resort? That’s the fun part! I’ve found three different ways to get out-of-bounds at Coconut Cove and explore the untamed wilderness. Okay, maybe I’m being a bit over-dramatic but it’s definitely a cool place to explore.

1. Jump to a friend: This is by far the easiest way to get to the party venue. This is also the best option for players without a subscription. If you know a friend might be at the party on Permafrost, just friend jump to them and you can enjoy all of the fun with the community!
2. Community tube stack: With a pile of penguins on tubes, you can be launched super high up in the air! I’ve seen many penguins use this trick to explore over the Boardwalk rock wall and more – it’s definitely super fun to work together and very rewarding to discover somewhere new. With a pile of tubes in the top of the waterfall, you can get to the party venue and enjoy the flight down.
3. Tube and hydrant: If you’re running a bit late to the party, just use a Hydro Hydrant atop the waterfall! By equipping your tube, you can launch just high enough to get over to the resort. Just be sure to hit the orange interact button as many times as you can while being launched in your tube!

Where to next, penguin pals?

Now we’ve discovered the resort in the Cove, I’m wondering… where else can we find hidden places for our penguins to party? I’ve heard about penguins partying on the Crate Co clock tower, on Potato Island, and even on a CLOUD! Crazy, right?! And with rumours of a new zone to explore coming soon, there will only be even more secret places to party in the future.
