Club Penguin Island have finally released their new 1.3 update with a brand new zone… Mt. Blizzard! I’ve been throwing snowballs, tube racing, mountain climbing and more with my friends over the past few days.
But, one of the most exciting things I’ve been up to on Mt. Blizzard isn’t playing mini-games, but instead exploring the area and picking out hidden details, hints at storylines (perhaps in Rookie Adventures?) and more with my friends Blue Thing102, Bffforever87 and BreeZaps! We’ve explored the Island, discovered what you might’ve missed and even came up with a few fun theories.
The Mt. Blizzard racer statue’s son
There’s a statue of a legendary racer at the top of Mt. Blizzard between the two tube racing tracks. I thought it would be fun to dress up as close to his outfit as possible and play the role of the statue’s son, also a legend at tube racing… not to toot my own horn. When my friend Blue Thing102 friend-jumped to me while i was saying that, I think it’s fair to say he was a bit surprised.
What’s behind the rock wall?
We waddled over to the right of the CPSN studio to discover a giant rock wall blocking a mysterious cave atop Mt. Blizzard. Blue Thing102, BreeZaps and I couldn’t find any clues at to who, or what, was residing in the secluded cave, so we came up with our own theories!
Blue Thing102: The Box Dimension?
Dj Stores: Is this the Merry Walrus cave?!
BreeZaps: Does the cave have the magic land of Pokemon?
Why not all three?
A top secret blast from the past
Penguins who’ve been waddling around for a very long time (around 7 years!) will remember that in an old EPF DS game, the Ski Lift in classic Club Penguin wasn’t working. The solution? Use a belt to power the entire thing! It looks like this little detail from our old game and its spin-off games has made its way to our brand new Island. I wonder if it’s the same belt?
Fishdogs are cooked at Mt. Blizzard?!
While sitting down for a Hot Cocoa break from all of this exploring, I waddled on over to the oven and smelt… Fishdogs! This leads to yet more mysterious myths and theories. Does the Foodtrekker secretly prepare all of its Fishdogs from frozen at Mt. Blizzard before transporting them with Crate Co super-fast crate shipping? Seems legit to me.
