Hey penguin pals! Welcome back to another Reviewed By You here on The Islanders. Last week we asked YOU, the community, what do you think makes a great party? It was so much fun to read through everyone’s answers. You said that you think great parties included decorations (of course!), an exciting theme and story, exclusive items, having fun with the community and lots of things to do like special games and activities.

A great party, in my opinion, is only great if it has a compelling story to tell or a context that gives it a purpose. It’s fine to have a Medieval Party for fun, but it’s better if it’s there to literally take us back to the past and tell us how Club Penguin built up from its early foundations. That’s just an example. I think that not every party needs a concrete story because it’s cool to just have fun! But, if it ties in well with another story then that would make it purposeful.
What if the Rainbow Migration hints towards the discovery of puffles? A theme is also key. If a party is meant to be serious, emphasise that seriousness with a perfect palette of colour, an appropriate set of decorations, a fitting soundtrack and a general serious mood through the way characters interact. Operation: Blackout nailed its theme of danger and loss of hope, which is why it is remembered as one of the greatest parties on Club Penguin.

Games, games, games, games, games!
There’s so many AWESOME mini-games on Club Penguin Island. Whether it’s diving in the Sea Caves for an underwater race, memorising moves in Team Dance Battle, or even completing challenging obstacle courses in igloos – penguins love games!
For this week’s Reviewed By You, I’d like to know – if you could create a mini-game for the Island, what would it be like? Would you create an all-new Party Game to play with friends? Or would you gamify an existing part of the Island, like the team did with the trampoline in June’s update? Maybe you could bring back one of your favourite mini-games from the classic Club Penguin but re-imagined?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. What I think would make a good game for Club penguin would be where they give us a theme and we have to make an igloo out of it, whoever makes the best igloo with the chosen theme would win! CPI could give you a plot so you wouldn’t have to get rid of your current iggy!
Ooh! That’s an awesome idea, Agent blue0! That reminds me of something really awesome we used to do on classic (hint: it starts with “igloo” and ends with “contest”). What if there was a time limit too? Thank you for sharing!

I got an idea for a game for Dot. Maybe there will be a description with 3 clothes around you. Choose the best clothing that matches the description. Maybe the other player can choose the category?
I think that a hang gliding game would be a fun addition to add. The game would be located at the lifeguard station. Also, who would guide you through the game?? JPG!!! It would be perfect! He currently doesn’t have his own spot on the island, and there are no mascots in the cove. There would be different modes to play, training and Flying Flippers where you would have to complete an obstacle course in the sky, like Jet Pack but with a different twist. You would also rescue penguins and pick up trash in the water to protect the environment. Free Fly, where you could just fly above the island, and Flying Friends Frenzy, where you could race your friends around the island with different obstacles.
And they said penguins are flightless birds! This is such a cool game idea, TopazWaters. Thank you for sharing.
I really like how your game has different modes to it, so it’s like a 3-in-1! Protecting the environment is an important cause to raise awareness of, so it’s pretty neat how you’ve included it in your mini-game idea. Waddle on!
One of my favourite games on classic Club Penguin was Smoothie Smash! That was something really original and I really loved serving smoothies to some mascots! I think it is something we can re-create on Club Penguin Island, not with fruit necessarily! Maybe pizza, at Franky’s Pizzeria! It would be a mix of Pizzatron 3000 and Smoothie Smash. Penguins would have to jump on the ingredients to make the pizza the customers want!
For every pizza done correctly, it could give us some coins to spend on different mini-games! The game could even have levels. For every 5 levels done, a new ingredient appears and the game becomes quicker and harder!
The game could be called: Hop Hop Pizza!
That sounds like SO MUCH FUN! I remember logging in to Club Penguin super early in the morning to check out the Smoothie Smash Update way back in 2012. It definitely became one of my favourite games too.
This is an awesome idea! Franky’s definitely has space for a fun mini-game and I think this could work great! So many penguins are asking for Pizzatron 3000 back – this could be it! Thanks for sharing, Bloxorz!
Adding on to what Bloxorz was saying, I think a combination of Pizzatron and Smoothie Smash would be an amazing idea! What if in the game a penguin/mascot ordered a pizza but with a certain type of sauce! Each sauce would have its own unique ingredients. We would jump on the ingredients making the sauce. After we make the sauce we could move on to making the pizza.
Overlooking what I think about the current mini games on CPI (pretty bad) I would love to see a recreation of the fishing game from old CP return. Not only is the fishing game my favorite old CP game but the one featured in CPI has to be a laziest mini game of all. I think this would be a great chance for them to add new modes or completely overhaul the graphics and enemy’s in the game and will allow us to FINALLY have a good way of making coins in the game. It can also just replace the current fishing game going in the exact same location. Sadly in the current state of CPI I doubt this will happen but one can dream!
