Happy Earth Day, penguins! Today, I hosted a meetup on the Island to celebrate our wonderful planet and everything on it, including pandas, trees and… seaweed?! Take a look at the highlights video I put together from our time at the Earth Day Party below.

THANKS FOR CELEBRATING EARTH DAY WITH ME!

Our planet Earth is very special, and as a penguin passionate about the environment and doing my part to help it, whether it’s doing something as small as recycling packaging from my lunch or supporting movements to defend parts of the planet like the Arctic from dangerous activities such as oil drilling, it was a pleasure to host this party for our community to support an amazing cause.

Celebrating the Earth and its wonderful wildlife on Club Penguin Island doesn’t have to just happen at a meetup. Next week, Club Penguin Island will be going to TIMES SQUARE in New York City for World Penguin Day, how exciting is that?! To get you in the penguin-y spirit, here’s a few fun facts about rockhopper penguins:

  • A rockhopper penguin’s favourite food is krill! I wonder if Captain Rockhopper also likes krill?
  • Their distinctive features include their red beaks and yellow head feathers.
  • Rockhopper penguins are found throughout regions of the southern hemisphere.

The Islanders will be hosting another Club Penguin Island meetup next week to celebrate all things musical for the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday 29th April. We’ll have more information on that meetup closer to the time.

Until next time…

Waddle on!
