Hi penguin pals! Your igloo is a place for you and your friends to hang out and eat as many squid sticks as you desire. But sometimes, you might get an unwanted visitor or two and you don’t know what to do. To help with this, I’ve developed an igloo security system to monitor any penguins visiting and stay hidden away when chatting to your buddies. Here’s a video tutorial for how to build one of your own!
Keep your Club Penguin Island igloo secure
Using the security system in the video, intruders would have to find your hidden teleporter pad, defeat your guards with a jackhammer or wooden sword and find you in the Box Dimension. The monitoring system lets you know when someone has entered your igloo when it changes number. If you’d like to make your penguin home even more secure, here’s some ideas to add to the system:
- Portal Traps: Hide lots of portals around your lot, but only one will lead to your flying base!
- Guard Layers: Have multiple layers of Practise Dummy or Snowman guards to increase the time it takes for someone to access your flying base.
- Backup Base: Rather than an Unusual Box portal to the Box Dimension, have ANOTHER hidden portal to another hidden base in your igloo. Bonus points to you if it’s out of bounds.
- The Floor is Lava: Cover your lot’s floor with teleporter pads – nobody will know which one leads to your hidden base!
- Home in the Sky: If you know how to do this glitch, turn your flying base into a flying igloo! You’ll be able to add floor items like dance floors and it will feel just like home!
- Viewing Platform: Build your base so you’re able to see penguins arrive in your igloo – but they can’t see you! You could put your base out of bounds, or just high enough so Hydro Hydrants can’t reach it.
- All Alone: This one is by far the easiest way to keep your igloo secure – set your Privacy setting so that only you can enter your igloo!
And there you have it, penguin pals! Your igloo is now totally secure. If you have any other igloo decorating tips and tricks or cool ways to use interactive furniture, be sure to leave them in the comments below! Thanks for watching and until next time…

Sometimes I prefer to be one on one with some friends, so these tips are very helpful. Thank you for sharing! I’ll have to upgrade my igloos with some of these ideas. :D
Waddle on!
WAIT…FLYING IGLOOS?! That’s a new one… I need to learn that lol.
If you add in security cameras in your igloo, best to make them hidden so penguins don’t know that they’ll be spotted. Another thing, the floor is lava? Then just place a bunch of mini volcanos on the floor! That’s my idea of securing an igloo! Waddle on!
That’s a very smart idea, Silly! I made the security cameras in my igloo a little bit too obvious – but I think it’s a bit funny. Mini volcanoes on the floor of an igloo?! I’m sure that violates about a million igloo safety protocols, but I love the idea nonetheless. Thank you for sharing!
Love it!
