Club Penguin Island’s brand new 1.5 update is out now on the App Store and Google Play. Here’s a speedy round-up of my 10 favourite new additions and updates in this version of the Island.
Whoa! What an awesome update! I was inspired to make this video by the video Club Penguin Island made for their 1.2 update. I really enjoyed it and I wanted to do a similar video for 1.5. In case the video was SO fast you need a refresher to keep up, or you’d like a tiny bit more information about what’s changed, here’s the list with a bit more information. ?
NEW UPDATES ON CLUB PENGUIN ISLAND

New login screen
If you’ve logged in before, now you can see your penguin’s outfit and penguin name and choose whether you’d like to remember your penguin’s password or not, just like in the classic game!

Marketing loading screens
When there’s something new on the Island, when you first load in to the game world, you’ll see these new super cool screens letting you know more about what’s new or what’s coming soon to the Island.

Tilt-O-Tube
A new game for members features a spinning but shrinking tube from outer space which appears every three minutes in the Boardwalk lagoon. The objective? Don’t fall off!

No more trampoline glitch
I have to admit… I might’ve cried a bit at this one… okay maybe a lot. In the old update, penguins were able to use the tube on the trampoline to get to the cloud super fast, but those days are behind us now.

New Lazy River
Sorry, Penglantis ruins! Now, the Lazy River wraps around the floating deck and airbag to create a loop. Rivers can have loops, right?

Lab Changes
It’s a super small change, but now Gary’s mountain-top Lab has a little platform which it sits on. It’s quite cute, I think I’ll name it “Platform-y”.

Blizzard Beach
Obviously the most exciting update of all. Everyone gets three Blizzard Beach inspired emojis to use. Members get a special snowflake tube (just like at the water park!) and two splash-tastic blueprints. And, to top it all off, Mount Blizzard is decorated! Time to hit the beach… on a snowy mountain.

Descendants 2
There’s so many ways to be wicked with all these Descendants 2 inspired items! Dress up as Mal, Evie, Uma or Ben or use the fabrics and decals to add an evil twist to your own style.

Ink or Swim
Members buy it, everyone can play it! Catch fish out of a cannon, but be careful of the squids! They’re pretty grumpy and will splash you with ink and steal your fish if you don’t pass the cannon before you get one. How to play? It’s just lucky to our knowledge, but keep playing – there might be a pattern we’ve not discovered.

Crate Co. updates
Now, the Crate Co. clock tower tells you not only the time but how long until the next snowball game. As soon as it’s ready to lower the targets to guide the delivery, screens with arrows will pop up. You can’t possibly miss it now!
